Here is a prophecy that is likely being fulfilled as I write this. The following passage indicates that Egypt will have a civil war, the winner will be a very repressive ruler:
1 An oracle concerning Egypt: See, the LORD rides on a swift cloud and is coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypttremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them. 2 “I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian– brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom. 3 The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will bring their plans to nothing; they will consult the idols and the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists. 4 I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” declares the Lord, the LORD Almighty. 5 The waters of the river will dry up, and the riverbed will be parched and dry. . . . 8 The fishermen will groan and lament, all who cast hooks into theNile; those who throw nets on the water will pine away.” (Isaiah 19:1-5, 8)
Notice that there is drought and famine during this time, because it is either the Great Tribulation or leading up to it. At this writing most of the United Statesis in a severe drought, as are some nations in Africa, Europe, and Asia, and it is likely to get worse. Therefore, this passage could refer to events in 2011-2012 when great crowds of people occupied Tahrir Square and forced Mubarak to step down as ruler. There was not a protracted war, but it was still a revolution in which many people were on the side of the government and many were on the side of the rebels. It was even noted that some families were split because of it.
The reason these event would make it into Bible prophecy is because the Muslim Brotherhood will likely be involved with the formation of the next Islamic Caliphate, which will form the Beast of Revelation, which is a revived empire. What we see in the Middle East today is the Beast clawing at the edges of the Abyss, trying to come out. When it does, WW3 will follow.
Here are three videos I found on YouTube that shows a ghostly horse and rider in the middle of a riot in Egypt in Feb. 2011 during the overthrow of Mubarak. Is this image telling us that these events in Egypt are connected to the rider on the Pale Horse in Revelation 6, that is really Green? In the original Greek the word translated “pale” is actually, “green.”
